This is the metal gear version of the mini servo used on our Night Flyers. We use this servo in our F-14 Tomcat with wings that sweep in-flight, because it is strong enough to overcome the effects of the wind pushing back on the wings if you move them foward at high speed.  If you want or need more power than a standard 9 gram servo, this is the servo to use. Not only is it stronger (stall torque is 2.5 kg/cm vs. 1.5 kg/cm on the non-metal gear), it has metal gears that are much more difficult to strip.  Use it on larger foamies, and especially on electrics that are heavier and have larger control surfaces.
