NOTE: These switches are NOT made by Apex. They look identical, but we buy these switches direct from the manufacturer. We've been selling these for years, and out of several hundred sold we haven't had ANY reports of these switches failing, like the reports we've been seeing about the Apex-brand switches being sold by Amazon.
A convenient combination of on/off switch and charge jack, this (or the one that includes an LED!) is my personal favorite of all the styles and types out there. It comes ready to install with a backplate and mounting screws, and includes a sliding cover to keep dirt and grass out of the charging jack. This is the exact same switch that is being sold elsewhere for as much as $20. I'll sell them at this price for as long as I can get them!!
IMPORTANT NOTE: We have redesigned these switches slightly, to reduce cost and weight. These switches now contain only the red (+) and black (-) wires necessary for proper operation. The white "signal" wire has been removed. Cables are 22AWG wire, and are approximately 10" long each, which means the switch will reach about 20" from the battery connection to the receiver connection. These are esentially the same switches we've been selling for a long time, the switch inside is the same double-pole slide switch, we just removed the white wire, which really hasn't been necessary on a switch like this for a long time. (Batteries do not contain a signal wire!)
